Derek & Taylor
Questions?
(1) Do kids get their cute personalities overnight? If so, at what age? Or is it something added each day?
(2) If Taylor didn't get my eyelashes, do you think she'll have my eyebrows? (sorry for the mention of hair again)
(3) Do you think Taylor will stay dark?
(4) Do all kids make a fist putting their thumb in between their index & middle fingers? (see picture)
My thoughts:
(1) Of course it's something that's added each day, but I thought Derek had a cute personality on day 1... Not that I'm saying Taylor's isn't cute... I guess I'm just comparing personalities between a 2 yr old and a 2 month old.
(2) I sure hope not
(3) I think so. I think Derek will get darker but Taylor is going to stay dark and maybe will always be darker than Derek.
(4) I assume so since Derek did it too. I think it's cute.

First things first. Awesome kids. I was going to say cute, but that sounded too girly.
As to your questions:
1) Kids are born with a personality. But nurturing can allow that personality to blossom into something more.
2) If she does, make sure she knows it's okay to pluck.
3) Yep.
4) I don't think so. I don't remember Charlie doing that. He punches like a man.
Oh, and thanks for defending me on Ashley's blog.
Ha ha! Here's what I think
1) I agree with what both you and Tyler C. said.
2)Coming from a woman born with dark, thick eyebrows (and having a sister born with a uni-brow), waxing is great option! And then plucking for upkeep. ;) Its really not the end of the world.
3) don't know... I keep wondering this of Ty too because Jared and I both started dark, went light as kids, and then dark again.
4)Ty does this all the time, so I would agree because of course if my son does it then it must be "normal"... ;)
Very sweet post. I hope Taylor doesn't get your eyebrows! Maybe a toned down version? And I hope she stays dark just because I think little girls with brown hair are darling. Thomas never put his thumb like that in his fingers....maybe its a Dabo thing?
answers---
1) yes, they are born with personalities. I've seen it in action--having 2 sets of twins and being able to see differences in both of them off the bat!!!
2)I hope not and FYI you tweeze eyebrows and pluck chickens! : )
3)I hope she stays dark with the BLUE eyes GORGEOUS!
4)my kids did it!! : ) how funny! : )
Hazel does the finger tuck, too, and I think it's stinkin' adorable. You got a great picture of it! Mine are always out of focus as she flails her arms around. This kid loves to move. (Hmm, ya think she might have gotten that from her dad?)
Your kids are so cute! Can't wait till mine are around yours so they can play together!
1 - Definitely born with personality, but it only gets stronger with time.
2 - I doubt it.
3 - I think it might go lighter -- I am watching that happen with Abby and she was SO dark when she was born.
4 - Funny thing: Abby did it, but I don't remember Brett doing it. Maybe it's a girl thing?
1) I think they are born with their personalities. Olivia was so alert, crazy and prissy from day one. Drew and Alex are so much more relaxed and I think they will stay that way. But I also think the way you parent molds those little personalities as well. Liv will always be a little different because she was my first (the practice baby).
2) You know big dark eyebrows are beautiful on woman, in fact I am trying to grow mine out more. I don't like pencil thin eyebrows. At least she will be able to control them with a little tweeze.
Hopefully she will still get some of your lashes though, or that would be a shame.
3) You know when I meet her I will probably be able to tell more. It's hard to tell in pictures. I hope she's dark all around, I hope she's dark all around. Skin, Hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes. You got to love a brunette!
4) All of my kids did that thing with their thumbs, man I thought my kids were the only ones that were too cute.
