Little Things

Derek is happy just about all the time. Here's a shot of him eating dinner (yep, lasagna with his hands & corn stuck in his teeth... classic!)

There are so many little things that he does or says that I need to write down and remember. Here's one. He always sits down and crosses his legs. Such a cute kid! What's a little thing your kids do?

Oh I love the little feet crossing. My kids did that when they were babies and I thought it was so cute!

Can't wait for Brett and Abby to meet Derek...when we left he was so little and now he and Brett could totally play together.

One thing Brett does is twirl his hair when he is concentrating hard on something...like watching TV :-)

I see you are a huge yankees fan. How big are you exactly? I have a friend who is over 6' 10" - how big are you?

if my friend were a "yankees fan" - he could be described as a "Huge Yankees Fan". Trouble is - he's never heard of the yankees.

How many albums have they done? What sort of music do they play.

Any way

Look forward to hearing your answers to my question - it has been troubling Mr P.

Hey Mitch, that corn smile and lasagna hands made a GREAT pic of Derek. One cute thing Thomas does is set the table when he's hungry and Jon & I are being slow. Last night he set the table before we got around to it, and he put a cookie on each plate for our "dinner." He also put out grapefruit spoons and knives for us to eat with!

yummy dinner when are you going to invite us over :) My kids did the leg crossing thing too. Now Luke will lay down and with one knee up cross the other leg on it. It's too cute. I find him like that even when he's asleep.

You asked what little things my kids do? They all pick their noses. They get it from their father. On a nicer note, when they are busy doing something like coloring, Legos or putting together puzzles, they all sing songs to themselves.

thanks for getting me focused on the little things i like about my kids because lexi has just gotten out of her bed four times since she went to sleep. lexi loves to chew meat off the bone--she'll just chomp on a chicken leg or a spare rib and tatum cocks her head down and slightly to the left and whimpers when she knows she's in trouble.
