Mitchell Report

Another sad day in baseball. More to come of my opinion later.

that is so crappy that so many lives can be tainted by hearsay.

You know what. I have to admit that I want to know what the negative side affects are of HGH and other drugs these guys are taking. If you ask me Barry Bonds looks pretty fit for being as old as he is. And if Clemens really did take the stuff, he's not doing so bad either.

I don't think its fair, and much more should be done to prevent its use in professional sports. But could the stuff have any benefits for your average aging guy that wants to be active longer as he gets older? Don't worry, I'm not going out to get the stuff, but I am curious.

Interesting reading all that. Thanks Tyler. I agree with you that it definitely is not fair to take these substances. I too believe that all sports needs to take a bigger stand to control all this.

What I do not agree with is to bring out gossip and hearsay. I know that Sen. Mitchell was asked by Major League Baseball to do his research... but what people do not realize is that he works for the Boston Red Sox. He's on their payroll. The only Red Sox players to be mentioned are ex-Red Sox players (one being Clemens). How ridiculous is that! Then after the report came out, so many newpapers ran with stories that didn't have anything to do with truth and many had to print corrections days later. But gosh, the damage is done and no TRUTH is out. Major damage has been.

I agree with Curt Schilling. If these people (Clemens) are innocent, they better be putting together a team of attorneys. And they should not stop until Mitchell and MLB publicly appologize.

One side note... Doesn't the fact that so many people use the stuff help Barry Bonds? If so many people used what he did, why didn't they hit all those homeruns too? If Barry used, he's still in a league of his own.
