Sad Days for Yankee Fans

I know most of you don't care, but when the RedSox win the world series... it's not a good day. Now you have to add in the fact that Joe Torre left, A-Rod opted out of his contract, Don Mattingly is probably out, and they haven't even signed Posada or Rivera yet. Man, it's not looking good when it should be such an amazing year (Yankees host the 08 All-Star game in their final season at Yankee Stadium).

It's a miracle you and Tyler are friends! I must say though that I liked Joe Torre.

I have to agree with Ashley. I was very disappointed with the way the Yankees team seems to be disintegrating under Steinbrenner's changes.

And, yes, while I am a Red Sox fan, I don't share the common "hatred" for the Yankees. That probably means I'm not really a true Red Sox fan doesn't it. Really I just like the hat and the fact that they sing "Sweet Caroline" by Neil Diamond. That's enough isn't it?

I know it's lame to comment on old posts... but it's been a while and I've been meaning to drop in and say, "Hi"... I chose this one to comment on because I thought about you, Mitch, as all of the Joe Torre drama unfolded. Even more, when I learned Mattingly was going to follow Torre to the Dodgers, I thought you must be crying!
So long to the good old days...
Anyway... bummer for the Yankees and the fans. Super bummer for the supper fans!
